Open positions at NDSA

The NDSA are currently seeking interested persons to support and or join the NDSA Committee, to either assist or lead with the production and execution of our programme of events and other works.

We hope to bolster our team of direct contributors in order to continue to deliver effectively for our membership and build further upon solid successes of recent years.

Support from existing Committee members will be available as well as opportunities to grow and develop in positions of leadership if desired. As a contributing member of the NDSA you will have access to RIBA's local, regional and national networks and events. You will have the opportunity to design and deliver your own initiatives (e.g. exhibits, research, events) with support of the Committee and RIBA administration. We actively encourage our Committee members and contributors to take a lead in pursuing work that aligns with the strengths and interests of the individual in accordance with RIBA Code of Conduct and NDSA Values & Principles.

Some of our current resource requirements are described below however if you feel you can offer something else of value, in or around these roles or otherwise, or have alternate proposals of support, then we will be delighted to hear from you. We welcome persons from all stages of their education and career.

Intermediate levels of experience in Adobe Creative Suite or similar will be required.  Video editing also includes that of online recordings such as roundtable events into smaller, more digestible content. The NDSA would like to deliver a series of building tours for example, which would need to be recorded and include interviews from relevant stakeholders such as project architect, client, contractor etc.

Education Secretary (NTU)

The role of the Education Secretary is to bridge the gap between academia and practice. This is done through visiting the universities and engaging with staff and students. Collaborative partnerships should continue to be established where possible to ensure an active and productive working relationship between the NDSA and the Universities. Working alongside the current Education Secretary will ensure an even distribution of responsibility and balanced representation from our local institutions.
