About this Event

The new Shopfront Design Guide for Nottingham, is the latest in the series of guides that make up the Design Quality Framework.

The Heritage and Urban Design Team from Nottingham City Council reveal the initial draft of this new guide at this online lunchtime event, with a view to welcoming your comments or ideas to help us shape the final document.

Design Quality Framework - Dr Laura B Alvarez (Senior Principal Urban Design & Conservation Officer) introduces the Design Quality Framework and the importance of good design.

Heritage Led Regeneration - Alice Ullathorne (Heritage Strategy Officer) talks about how heritage led regeneration is transforming areas of Nottingham City Centre.

Shopfront Design Guide - Tom Street (Conservation Officer) and Emma Hancock (Heritage Action Zone Officer) take you through the new guide, after which you will be invited to ask questions and provide feedback.

Who is this event for?

Applicants, designers, planning officers and those making decisions on planning applications can attend this event to preview the design guide and discuss the guide with the Heritage and Urban Design Team.
